Workplace Wellness

About the facilitator

These workshops are designed and delivered by Una Le Meur, an IACP-accredited psychotherapist in clinical practice since 2011. Anxiety is her specialist area — the majority of her day-to-day work is with people who live with it in one form or another.

Alongside her therapy practice, Una has delivered workshops to over 500 staff across the media, education, community, and addiction sectors. That breadth of experience shapes the workshops you see here: the pacing, the plain language, and the practical tools that actually land in the room and travel back to the desk with people.

What that means for your team is that the content isn't a generic wellness presentation. It is drawn from real clinical work, shaped by the questions people actually ask, and delivered by someone comfortable moving between the therapy room and a roomful of colleagues.

Managing Workplace Anxiety

A half-day workshop for teams who want to work well under pressure.

Anxiety has quietly become part of the modern working day. The Sunday night dread. The racing thoughts before a presentation. The meetings that leave you wound up for hours afterwards. Most people carry it silently, hoping no one notices.

This workshop gives your team a different option — the language to name what's happening, a clear understanding of why, and a small set of practical tools that actually work in the middle of a busy workday.

WHO IT'S FOR

Any team or organisation who wants to build a calmer, more resilient workplace. It works well as a wellbeing week event, a team away day, an onboarding session for a high-pressure department, or a standalone investment in staff wellbeing.

No one is asked to share anything personal. The session is designed so quieter team members get just as much from it as those who speak up readily.

WHAT IS COVERED

Over the half-day five areas are worked through.

What anxiety actually is. The difference between stress, anxiety, and something more — in plain language, with no jargon. We look at what's happening in the body and why it isn't a flaw.

Recognising it in yourself at work. The early signs most of us miss — the shoulder tension, the reactive emails, the skipped lunch, the scrolling. We map out what your personal signs look like so you can catch them sooner.

The nervous system, simply explained. A short, accessible look at how the body's stress response works and why "just calm down" has never worked for anyone. This is the part most workshops skip — and it's the part that makes the tools land.

Practical tools for a working day. Three or four simple regulation techniques you can use at your desk, in a meeting, or in the car park before a difficult call. Discreet, quick, and drawn from trauma-informed therapeutic practice.

When it's more than a busy week. How to tell the difference between a hard patch and something that needs more support — and what the options look like if you or a colleague get there.

WHAT YOUR TEAM TAKES AWAY

A shared language for talking about pressure and anxiety at work.

Three to four practical regulation tools each person can use the same afternoon.

A clearer sense of their own early warning signs.

A printed handout with the tools and further resources to keep.

An understanding of when and how to seek further support, without stigma.

WHY IT WORKS

The workshop is designed and delivered by Una Le Meur, an IACP-accredited psychotherapist whose specialist area is anxiety. The content is drawn directly from clinical practice — not a corporate wellness script. It is practical, grounded, and shaped by years of working one-to-one with people who carry anxiety into their working lives.

Resilience Under Pressure

A half-day workshop for teams working in high-demand environments: how to stay steady, recover well, and last the distance.

Some teams don't get quieter periods. The deadlines stack, the inbox never empties, and the pressure doesn't let up for long. People cope — until they don't. This workshop is about the difference between healthy pressure and the kind that's slowly wearing a team down, and the everyday practices that keep people sharp without burning them out.

WHO IT'S FOR

High-demand teams — sales, editorial, creative, clinical, frontline, operational. Teams coming out of an intense period and needing to re-gather.

No one is asked to share anything personal. The session works well for mixed-seniority teams.

WHAT IS COVERED

What resilience actually is — and what it isn't. The real definition, stripped of clichés. It isn't "toughing it out" or "having a positive mindset." It's a practical set of skills that can be learned and rebuilt when they've been spent.

Spotting the slow slide. The signs that pressure has tipped from healthy into corrosive — in yourself and in the people around you. The small changes that show up weeks before anything bigger does.

Energy in, energy out. A simple model for understanding what costs you energy at work and what genuinely replenishes it. Why the Friday evening collapse isn't rest — and what actually is.

Recovery that actually works. Three to four practical recovery practices you can build into a working day. Not "self-care" advice that no one has time for — small, repeatable habits that shift the nervous system.

Pacing for the long game. How to tell the difference between a short sprint and a pattern, how to raise it when a team is running too hot for too long, and when to escalate.

WHAT YOUR TEAM TAKES AWAY

A realistic understanding of what resilience is (and what it isn't).

The early warning signs of burnout — in themselves and their colleagues.

Three to four recovery practices that work in a real working day.

A shared language for naming pressure without blame.

A printed handout and follow-up resources.

FORMAT & INVESTMENT

Three hours with a short break.

Up to 25 attendees.

Delivered onsite in Ireland or online.

Includes a printed take-home handout for every attendee and follow-up resources by email.

Menopause at Work

A half-day workshop on the mental health of menopause and how both individuals and employers can navigate it well.

Around one in three women in your workforce is likely to be in some stage of perimenopause or menopause at any given time. The physical symptoms get some airtime — the hot flushes, the broken sleep. The mental health side — the anxiety, the loss of confidence, the brain fog, the sudden sense of not recognising yourself — rarely makes it into the conversation.

This workshop brings it into the light. Practical guidance for those going through it, and for the colleagues and managers working alongside them.

WHO IT'S FOR

Women in perimenopause or menopause, which often starts earlier than people expect. Managers and team leads of any gender who want to support their teams well. HR and wellbeing teams building a menopause-aware workplace. Any organisation taking this seriously as a workforce issue rather than a personal one.

WHAT IS COVERED

Menopause is a mental health event too. Why the emotional and cognitive side of menopause is just as significant as the physical — and why it so often gets missed, or misdiagnosed as anxiety or depression in isolation.

What's actually happening. A clear, non-medical explanation of what's shifting in the body and brain, and why it affects mood, concentration, sleep, and confidence in the ways it does.

The anxiety piece. For many women, this is when anxiety arrives — or returns — for the first time in years. We look at why, what it feels like, and what actually helps.

Practical tools for the working day. Regulation techniques, confidence-rebuilding strategies, and small adjustments that make the working day workable — not just for those going through it, but for the way a team runs.

Supporting someone through it. For managers and colleagues — how to open the conversation without overstepping, what reasonable accommodations actually look like, and how to build a culture where people don't have to hide it.

WHAT YOUR TEAM TAKES AWAY

A proper understanding of the mental health dimension of menopause.

Practical tools for those going through it.

Clear, usable guidance for managers supporting staff.

Language to have the conversation without awkwardness.

A printed handout and further resources.

FORMAT & INVESTMENT

Three hours with a short break.

Up to 25 attendees.

Delivered onsite in Ireland or online.

Includes a printed take-home handout for every attendee and follow-up resources by email.

Building a wellbeing programme?

Organisations booking two or more of the above workshops receive €200 off each additional session. I'm also happy to design a tailored series for your team over a quarter or year — email me to talk it through.
